Dinner will benefit families of teens involved in recent train collision

The Committee on Conscious at St. Francis of Assisi Church will host a spaghetti dinner at the parish, 1960 Bardstown Road, April 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to support Nepali/Bhutanese refugees who recently lost several teens in a car crash involving a train in the Buechel Bypass area.

Three young people died and one remains in the hospital with extensive injuries which will require rehabilitation therapy.

Kentucky Refugee Ministries and Catholic Charities of Louisville helped to settle these young people and their families in the Louisville area.

Proceeds from this event will help pay funeral costs and medical bills.
