Conversational Spanish program is planned

The Archdiocese of Louisville Office of Multicultural Ministry will offer conversational Spanish sessions for those who want to improve their ability to communicate with the Hispanic community in their parishes.

Among those who may benefit from the program are youth ministers, parish leaders and staff, music ministers and religious education directors.

The eight-week program is designed for those who have taken Spanish classes but who don’t have an opportunity to speak it on a regular basis. Participants should be able to speak Spanish.

It will be offered on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maloney Center, 1200 S. Shelby St., on Nov. 7 and 14; Dec. 5, 12 and 19; and Jan. 9, 16 and 23. The cost is $75.

To register or for more information, call 636-0296 and ask for the Office of Multicultural Ministry.
