Conversational Spanish classes will be offered

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry (OMM) will offer “Conversational Spanish Classes” for parish staff, volunteers and others who want to enhance their ability to communicate with the Hispanic community in their parishes.

According to an announcement from the OMM, those attending should be able to speak Spanish. The classes are intended to assist students who have taken the language but have not had the opportunity to speak it on a regular basis.

The classes will be held on Thursdays, Jan. 7 through Feb. 25, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maloney Center, 1200 S. Shelby St. The cost is $75. To register or for more information, call OMM at 636-0296, ext. 1245.
