Christmas effort links distant parishes

Members of Holy Trinity Church in Louisville and Holy Cross Church in Holy Cross, Ky., again partnered to provide Christmas gifts for those in need.

The collaboration — called The Links of Friendship Christmas Outreach Program — is now in its 30th year.

On Dec. 19, parishioners of Holy Trinity traveled to Cumberland County, Ky., to present 325 gifts to individuals and families in need.

“Christmas Outreach has become an annual event for this community. It has grown each year and continues to be a blessing for everyone involved,” Priscilla Schwartz, a parishioner of Holy Cross, said.
