The Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. Fifth St., will celebrate the feast day of St. Lorenzo Ruiz on Sept. 25 with Mass at 5:30 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner of Filipino dishes in the undercroft. A statue and banner commemorating St. Lorenzo will be carried in the procession.
The suggested donation for the dinner is $10 and proceeds will go toward the Cathedral Scholarship Fund to help a minority student attend a Catholic school. No reservations are required. For more information, call the Cathedral of the Assumption at 582-2971.
