Camp Africa will be held through July 21 at the CEC

RecordLogo-FCamp Africa Freedom School, a summer academic and cultural enrichment program for children entering first through eighth grades, will be offered now through July 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 W. Broadway.

The seven-week program offers “cultural art experiences from africentric perspective” and academic programs, including math, science, reading and writing. It will also include field trips and an art and science fair.

The cost, which includes breakfast, lunch and a snack, is $350 per child. There is also a $50 registration fee. A discount is available for families with multiple children. For more information or to register, call 776-0262.
