Bethlehem High School seeks nominations for awards

Bethlehem High School is seeking nominations for several awards, including the Hall of Fame honor and the Alumnus of the Year Award.

The alumnus award is presented to a graduate who has contributed to the community and enriched people’s lives, bringing distinction to Bethlehem.

The Hall of Fame Award is given to an alumnus who is exceptionally devoted supporter of the school. The award recognizes “a culmination of their outstanding contributions and achievements.” Nominee must have graduated at least 10 years ago.

The Star Award will be presented to someone who is not a Bethlehem graduate but who has contributed significantly to the school community.

The Athletic Award is given annually to a former Bethlehem athlete or coach who “performed with excellence” or lettered in a varsity sport. Athlete nominees should have graduated at least 10 years ago.

Nominees may be living or dead. Awards will be presented at the school’s Aug. 9 Hall of Fame Banquet. Nomination forms (available at www.bethlehemhigh.org under the alumni tab) and supporting documentation should be submitted by March 29 to Patty Nevitt, 309 W. Stephen Foster Ave., Bardstown, Ky., 40004.
