The Bellarmine University Women’s council, known for its Designer’s Show House, will hold a “Day at the Races” at Churchill Downs Nov. 12 to raise funds for Bellarmine University’s Student Financial Aid Fund.
The event, to be held in the Triple Crown Room, will include a silent auction, a private betting window, a buffet and cash bar.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and tickets, which must be purchased in advance, are $50. Tables of 10 are available for $500. Only 280 tickets will be sold. For reservations, contact Sandy Byrd at 523-8126 or sandrabyrd@me.com.
