‘Behind and Beyond Bars’ prison ministry conference set for March 6

The 7th Annual Conference Reaching Individuals Behind and Beyond the Bars will take place March 6 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Hotel Louisville, 120 W. Broadway.

The conference which is sponsored in part by Catholic Charities of Louisville is designed for individuals interested in prison ministry and mentoring those recently released from prison.

The keynote speaker will be Dale Recinella, a national Catholic speaker and author. The conference will also offer sessions on topics such as the psychological impact of incarceration as well as an update on legislation relating to criminal justice reform in Kentucky.
