Nine Assumption High School juniors received university book awards, which are given to students for outstanding academic achievement, particularly in the areas of English and reading.
This year’s recipients are: Lizzy Hamilton (University of Virginia); Abby Glover (University of Michigan); Sarah Metzger (Washington and Lee University); Lindsay Haffner (St. Michael’s University); Holly Zoeller (University of Louisville); Hannah Gruneisen (University of Kentucky); Emma Spinetto (Western Kentucky University); Emma Kuhl (Spalding University); and Rosie Bartley (Brandeis University).
