Assumption High School’s debate team won the regional championship at the 2016 Kentucky High School Speech League (KHSSL) Louisville Tournament Feb. 7.
Raegan Davis won the tournament championship for impromptu speaking; Rachel Finefrock won the tournament championship for poetry interpretation and Allison Laslie won the tournament championship for prose interpretation.
The team will compete in the KHSSL state tournament later this month.
