Presentation students, elderly refugees collaborate for Speed

presentation-logoStudents in Presentation Academy’s chapter of the National Art Honor Society collaborated with members of the Kentucky Refugee Ministries’ Elder Program and the Speed Art Museum educators to create an exhibition centered on the theme of home.

The exhibit, entitled “Making Our Way Home: Stories from Louisville and Beyond,” consists of artwork made through printmaking.

The exhibit is part of the Speed Art Museum’s Wall Together program, designed to promote community collaboration, according to the museum’s website. The exhibit was featured during the museum’s grand re-opening event March 12 and will remain on display through June 26.
