Students received awards at KUNA conference

St. Xavier High School received several awards at the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) conference, which took place March 6-8 at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville.

The group received “delegation of excellence” designation.

Individual award winners were: Malcomb Haming (elected secretary general), Kellen Murphy (appointed editor-in-chief), Jordan Zax (elected security council president), Camden Mackowiak (outstanding ambassador), Callum Weimer (outstanding media corps), Cameron Luker (outstanding speaker); Julian Clovin (named International Court of Justice justice) and Brian Bruns (ambassador of goodwill).

Trinity High School also received numerous awards at the KUNA conference held March 13-15 at the Galt House Hotel.

The group won the Outstanding Statesmanship Award.

Individuals winners were: Chidum Okeke (elected secretary general), Bryant Reynolds (named International Court of Justice justice), Henry Snyder (outstanding delegate) and Wyatt Ringo and Jacob Romines (outstanding speakers). And, Reynolds and Sammy Boyance-Stampley received the Advisory Team Award for their work on the International Court of Justice.
