Archdiocese will hold multicultural Pentecost celebration

A multicultural Pentecost celebration will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Louisville May 24 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. Fifth Street. Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will preside at the liturgy.

Representatives from various cultural groups in the archdiocese will take part in the celebration, which is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Ministry, the Office of Worship and the Catholic Services Appeal.

Prelude music will begin at 2 p.m., followed by Mass at  2:30 p.m. An ice cream social will follow the liturgy.

Guests are invited to dress in the traditional clothing of their cultures. For more information, call 471-2146 or 471-2144.
