Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Zaepfel, members of St. Margaret Mary Church, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on May 21. Mrs. Zaepfel, the former Tess Gatewood, retired from Stock Yards Bank. Mr. Zaepfel is a retired CPA. The couple have two children and seven grandchildren.
Paul Stanley and Linda Lee Furmanek, members of Epiphany Church, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on May 2. Mrs. Furmanek, the former Linda Walker Morrissey, is a preschool teacher who retired from Hurstborne Baptist Day School. Mr. Furmanek retired as a chemical engineer for DuPont Chemical Co. after 39 years of service. The couple have four children, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Michael David and Billie Jo Donahue, members of St. Thomas Church in Bardstown, Ky., will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on May 17. Mrs. Donahue, the former Billie Jo Holbert, works in the auto industry. Mr. Donahue works as a printing press operator.
Bernard and Jennifer King Hobbs, members of St. Martin of Tours Church in Flaherty, Ky., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 15. Mrs. Hobbs is a retired educator and a homemaker. Mr. Hobbs is a farmer. The couple have seven children, 30 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
