Father Charles D. Walker, pastor of St. Bernard Church, has taken part in St. Baldrick’s Foundation events by having his head shaved in exchange for donations for 16 years. The foundation raises money for pediatric cancer research. Most recently, he, teachers and students from St. Bernard School, sacrificed their hair for the cause on April 20.
