Jaimie Thomison, a swimmer at Mercy Academy, was named Athlete of the Month by Penn Station restaurants.
The award is based on athletic accomplishments and service and leadership. Jamie is president of the student council and founder of “Small Acts Strong Hearts” club.
The award qualified Jamie for the Athlete of the Year competition which will take place over the summer.
