The Francis Center will host an international potluck meal May 19

The Francis Center, an outreach ministry at St. John Paul II Church, will host an international meal May 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the parish, 3042 Hikes Lane.

The event, organizers said, is in response to Pope Francis’ and Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz’s call to “share the journey of immigrants.” The potluck-style meal will showcase foods from various nations and is sponsored by the Francis Center along with neighboring congregations and communities.

For more information, call Donna Kenney, executive director of the Francis Center, at 459-4251, ext. 12.
