Shorn for St. Baldrick’s

St. Albert the Great School students Katie Gilbert, right, and Anna Koeberlein donated their hair during the school’s St. Baldrick’s Celebration March 12. They were among 100 St. Albert students who raised money and had their hair cut for donation or had their heads shaved for the St. Baldrick Foundation, which raises money for childhood cancer research. The school, which has raised funds for St. Baldricks for 14 years, has raised more than $71,900 so far this year. The school will continue to accept donations this year. If it reaches $128,000 it will become the first school in the world to raise more than $1 million for the foundation. (Photo Special to The Record)
