St. Leonard School math teacher has recent work published

An academic paper by Judy Albanese, a math teacher at St. Leonard School, was recently published in the Decmeber issue of Mathematics Teaching In The Middle School. The article, “How Old Is The Oldest Person You’ve Known,” contains the data students collected along with some of their responses and pictures.

Albanese also presented the project at the recent National Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference in Indianapolis. A copy of the article is available on the NCTM wesbite at https://www.nctm.org/catalog/viewcart.aspx for $7.
