Communion minister update sessions scheduled

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Worship Office will hold a series of “Communion Minister Formation Update Sessions” in the coming months.

The sessions are for those ministers who have already completed the archdiocesan two-session Communion Minister Formation Program. These sessions will fulfill the requirements for continuing formation for communion ministers needing a five-year mandate renewal, according to a news release from the Office of Worship.

Dates and locations of the sessions are:
-August 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive.
-September 13 from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Martin de Porres Church, 3112 W. Broadway.
-October 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 501 Cherrywood Road.
-November 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Thomas Church in Bardstown, Ky.
-December 3 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Brigid Church, 1520 Hepburn Ave.
-January 22, 2015, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ascension Church, 4600 Lynnbrook Drive.
-March 11, 2015, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 1000 N. Beckley Station Road.
