Students at St. Leonard School, 440 Zorn Ave., thanked veterans of the United States military for their service by singing patriotic songs the morning Nov. 10. The students stood behind a banner placed on the school’s front lawn which faces Zorn Avenue and only a short distance from the Louisville Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The students also heard from a St. Leonard parent Thao Reed who is a veteran of the United States Army.
