Macy’s Department Store in New York City has awarded St. Leonard School a $1,000 grant to produce the holiday musical titled “Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus.” St. Leonard was one of only 100 schools nationwide that received the award, according to the school. The musical will be performed on Dec. 14 at the Clifton Center Theatre, 2117 Payne St.
The production will be filmed and posted on the Macy’s website along with the other winning schools’ productions.
