OMM will offer a basic Spanish class

A basic Spanish class for those who wish to communicate and become more involved with the Hispanic community in their parishes will be offered by the Office of Multicultural Ministry (OMM) on Thursdays from March 5 to May 14. (No class will be held on April 2.) The classes will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maloney Center, 1200 S. Shelby Street.

The course is designed to prepare students to engage in basic conversational Spanish, a news release from OMM said.

The cost is $60 and includes the workbook and materials. To register or for more information, call OMM at 636-0296, ext. 1220. The deadline to register is March 2.
