Workshop for immigrants, those who want to support them to be March 3

Immigrants and people who want to be supportive of immigrants are invited to attend the Share the Journey Immigration Legal Workshop on March 3. It will be presented from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holy Family Church’s Saffin Center, 3926 Poplar Level Road.

Participants will hear from a panel that includes Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad and Father Joseph Rankin, vicar for Hispanic ministry in the Archdiocese of Louisville. The keynote address will be given by Michelle Sardone, the legalization program director for the Catholic Legal Immigration Network Inc., (CLINIC) — a national group created by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The cost of the workshop is $20, which includes breakfast and lunch. Participants may register at the door or at www.archlou.org/share.
