Laura Phelps, a Catholic women’s author, blogger and speaker, will speak at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 508 Breckenridge Lane, March 24 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Our Lady of Lourdes’ Walking with Purpose Ministry will host the event.
Phelps will address the battles that women face in everyday life and “the spiritual armor needed to conquer these challenges,” according to information about the event.
Phelps “has spent the last four years working in women’s ministry, serving as a contributing writer for CatholicMom.com, TAKE OUT: Our Sunday Visitor parent magazine, Family Rosary and Walking with Purpose,” the announcement said. She also writes a blog that can be viewed at www.LauraMaryPhelps.com.
Refreshments will be available before and after the event.
