The Widows or Widowers (WOW) Organization has two events planned in the coming week.
Its monthly social meeting will be held on Oct. 21 at St. Stephen Martyr School, Hess Lane and Pindell Avenue, in the cafeteria at 7:30 p.m. This will be the organization’s annual Halloween party with cider, doughnuts and a prize for the best costume. Music for dancing will be provided by Jeff Rehmet.
The WOW dinner of the month will be held on Oct. 19 at O’Charley’s Restaurant in the Jefferson Mall, 4801 Outer Loop, at 5 p.m. Reservations must be made by Oct. 18.
