The CEF launches a new mobile app

ceflogo-9-5-13-wThe Catholic Education Foundation has launched a new app for iPhone and Android devices. The app was announced during the foundation’s seventh annual Salute to THE GAME luncheon on Sept. 30.

Along with the new app, the CEF will also hold a random drawing for three $2,500 tuition assistance vouchers for the 2015-2016 school year. All qualified individuals who register for the app by Dec. 31 will automatically be entered in the drawing.

Winners can use the voucher or donate it to any Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Louisville. The vouchers can be used for tuition assistance only and cannot be redeemed for cash.

CEF President Richard A. Leichleiter noted that the new technology “is another great way to reach our audience and share the latest information about the foundation and Catholic education in our community.”

All entrants into the contest must be at least 18 years of age, and the CEF will issue an IRS Form W-9 to each winner. The winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, and winners will be contacted by phone or email by Jan. 15.
