‘Why Catholics Work for Justice’ will be Oct. 16 and 18

why catholic2 logo“Why Catholics Work for Justice” is the subject of a RENEW Why Catholic? workshop to be presented on Oct. 16 and 18 at three locations. All are invited to attend the free event.

Dr. Laura Zane Kolmar, the presenter who is director of pastoral services for RENEW International, will discuss the social mission of the church and plans to identify ways Catholics can work toward peace and justice. She will offer her presentation:

Oct. 16 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Weiker Room at St. Stephen Martyr Church, 2931 Pindell Avenue.
Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive.
Oct. 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Rodney Thomas Room at St. James Church in Elizabethtown, Ky.
