Mr. and Mrs. John E. Wood Jr., members of St. Stephen Martyr Church, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 15. Mrs. Wood, the former Brenda Catherine Lamkin, retired after 31 years as a senior administrative specialist for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Mr. Wood retired from Kitchen Kompact after 40 years. The couple have four children and seven grandchildren.
