Mr. and Mrs. John Hertel, members of St. Edward Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 13. Mrs. Hertel, the former Judy Brewster, retired in 2019 as vice president of McGriff Insurance. Mr. Hertel retired in 2018 from a career in business management. The couple have three children and four grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis R. Zweibel, members of St. Martha Church, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 12. Mrs. Zweibel, the former Donna R. Byrd, is retired. Mr. Zweibel served for 21 years at Brown and Williamson and 10 years at Brown-Forman before retiring in 1997. The couple have two children and five grandchildren.
