Wanted: High school and college-aged altar servers to assist the archbishop

The Office of Worship will host a training for new “pontifical servers” — high school or college-aged men and women with experience serving at Mass — on July 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at St. Albert the Great Church, 1395 Girard Drive.

After training, pontifical servers will have the opportunity to sign up to serve at special Masses celebrated by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre throughout the year. These special liturgies include the Chrism Mass, ordinations, Mass for Life, Rite of Election and more.

Register by sending an email to Dr. Karen Shadle, director of the Office of Worship, at kshadle@archlou.org.
