Ursuline Sister Judith Rice honored

Ursuline Sister Judith Rice was honored with the Sacred Heart Schools Francesconi Award of Integrity for her more than 45 years of service to the schools.

“In her dedicated service to Sacred Heart Academy, to Sacred Heart Schools and to the larger community, Sr. Judith is a tireless advocate for the equal treatment of all. She spreads the mission of St. Angela,” said a press release from the school.

Sister Rice recently stepped down from her role as director of mission effectiveness at Sacred Heart Schools. She will now serve as archivist for Sacred Heart Schools and as a volunteer in the alumni office. She previously served as an educator at Angela Merici High School and Sacred Heart Academy. She also served on the Ursuline Sisters leadership council.
