Update sessions for extraordinary ministers of holy Communion set

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Worship will offer formation sessions for extraordinary ministers of holy Communion in January.

There will be Communion minister formation sessions Jan. 10 and 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 4005 Dixie Highway. This four-hour program is for those preparing to serve as extraordinary ministers of holy Communion, as well as those who are presently serving in this role but have not attended this program in the past.

An update session for Communion ministers will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 30 at St. Albert the Great Church, 1395 Girard Dr. The update session is for ministers who need a mandate renewal and who have completed the Communion minister formation program in the past.
