The University of Notre Dame Alumni Association has chosen the Notre Dame Club of Greater Louisville as one of the recipients of its Outstanding Club Award.

“Greater Louisville experienced several important firsts in 2019, leading to growth in events, membership, and engagement. Spurred by the opportunity to host its “Bluegrass and Gold Weekend” around the Notre Dame-Louisville football game, the club improved its efforts in community service, current student outreach, social media, and diversity programming, ultimately hosting more than 70 events,” said a release from the university.
“The club hosted its first Hispanic Alumni and LGBTQ events, as well as its first Alliance for Catholic Education House. In holding its first successful professional development in years, the club grew its membership to IrishCompass, the Alumni Association’s online professional networking platform.”
Due to new social distancing norms the award was announced via a video message from Muffet McGraw, the former Karen & Kevin Keyes Family Women’s Basketball Head Coach said the release.
