Trinity students win journalism awards

trinity-logo---5.7.15-wTrinity High School broadcast students won top awards in the Kentucky High School Journalism Association (KHSJA) State competition.

The school’s television newsmagazine, The Rock, won first and second place in the newsmagazine category.

Seniors Barron Hoffman and Lucas Porter placed first in the humorous feature category. Junior Bennett Clark won second place in news feature category.

In the sports category, juniors Aaron Abend and Dallas Jenkins won first place. Junior Spencer Brown placed second in the voice over-to-sound category.

In addition, Trinity placed second in the KHSJA Class AA general excellence category.
