trinity-logo---5.7.15-wCharles L. “Chuck” Servino, a 1973 graduate, was presented the Trinity High School’s 2016 Honor Alumnus Award May 21 during the school’s graduation ceremony.

Servino attended the University of Kentucky where he played on the football team and graduated in 1978 with a degree in education.
He retired from Trinity in 2013 after serving as a teacher and coach for 33 years.

“To say that Chuck is considered by many to be a cornerstone of the Trinity community is an understatement,” said a news release from the school. “Chuck has taught, coached, mentored, befriended and exemplified what a Trinity man of faith and man of character is all about.”

The Little Sisters of the Poor were presented with the Trinity Peace Medal during the school’s graduation ceremony.

“The award reconizes a deserving individual or group for efforts that promote peacemaking, justice building and service to others,” said a statement from the school.

In Louisville, the sisters serve the elderly poor through the St. Joseph Home for the Aged.
