Deacon Tony Cecil, Deacon Steven Reeves and Deacon Kirby Rust will be ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz on May 25 at 11 a.m. at Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 South Fifth Street.
A Holy Hour in thanksgiving for the ordination will be held at Holy Family Church, 3938 Poplar Level Road, on May 24 at 6 p.m. This is an opportunity to pray with those who are preparing for ordination.
All are invited to attend the Holy Hour and ordination and are asked to encourage family and friends to attend as well.
Those who know someone who may have a call to the priesthood are asked to invite him to the celebration and encourage him to contact the Vocation Office at 636-0296.
