St. Peter the Apostle to offer Theology of the Body classes

RecordLogo-FSt. Peter the Apostle Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, will offer an introduction to St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body starting in July.

Theology of the Body “is a profound teaching about what it means to be a human person. It has the focus, from Sacred Scripture, on how God made us male and female and endowed us with an identity that comes straight from the Holy Trinity,” said a statement from the organizers.

There will be two four-week sessions offered in the morning and evening.

Evening classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 5, 12, 26 and Aug. 2. Morning classes will be held on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 6, 13, 27 and Aug. 3. All sessions will take place in the church’s conference room.

The classes are free, but participants who wish to keep their workbook will need to make a donation. To register for the classes, call Cathy Blandford at 937-5920 ext. 225 or email at cblandford@saintpeterapostle.org.
