Students recognized by Duke Talent Identification Program

Sixty-three students from Archdiocese of Louisville schools and parishes have been recognized by the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP).

Each year, TIP identifies academically talented seventh-graders in public, nonpublic and home schools. Recognition is based on students’ scores on the SAT or ACT college entrance exams. Students may receive “grand recognition” (the highest scores) or “state recognition.”

Nine students received “grand recognition.” They are:
Leland Davis of Our Lady of Lourdes School; Lena Fultz of St. Agnes School; Michael Pemberton of St. Gabriel School; Mason Baldwin, Abigail Clarkson and Anthony Pike of St. James School in Elizabethtown, Ky.; Colton Spalding of St. Joseph School in Bardstown, Ky.; Becket Johnson of St. Nicholas Academy; and Leo McAllister of St. Frances of Rome Church who attends Meyzeek Middle School.

In addition, 54 students received “state recognition.” They are:
Andrew Harris and Lindsey Spalding of Holy Spirit School; Lauren Kamer, Sarah Keal and Audrey Wintergerst of Holy Trinity School; Dylan Alphenaar, Audrey Burke, Alejandro Downard, John Kelley, Katherine Nett, Ashley Park and Sydney Webb of Sacred Heart Model School; Anna Burzynski, Abigail Crady, Joseph Deck, Ella Donahue, Hilda Drabenstadt, John Kaufman, Samantha Koch, Cara Yson and Nicholas Zoglman of St. Agnes School;

Addison Gerch, Benjamin Hertel and Chidubem Ozor of St. Albert the Great School; Jadon Duff, Henry Fawcett, Riley Jarrell, Andrew Kramer, Lila Norris, Anika Roche and Christine Very of St. Aloysius School;

Jenna Mullins of St. Augustine School; Chase Reed of St. Edward School; Lucy Doyle of St. Francis of Assisi School; Riley Elmore of St. Gabriel School; Cameron McCullough and Jenna West of St. James School in Elizabethtown;

John Adams, Carlee Hite of St. Joseph School; Abigail Driess, James Moreschi, Samuel Nemes, Olivia Reynolds, Rylee Sandifer, Madeline Schellenberger, William Warms and Grant Wilson of St. Margaret Mary School; Justin Schwoeppe of St. Martha School;
