Students raise funds for hurricane victims

Catholic school students in the Archdiocese of Louisville do charity work and other community outreach, in addition to their studies.

Our Lady of Lourdes School fifth-graders, above, helped hold a bake sale Sept. 8 at the church.

The sale raised $925, which was donated to Catholic Relief Services to aid people affected by Hurricane Dorian, which struck a catastrophic blow to the Bahamas Sept. 1.
