Students named to governor’s arts, entrepreneurs programs

More than two dozen students who attend Catholic high schools have been selected to participate in the 2016 Governor’s School for the Arts and Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.

The following students were selected to participate in the arts program:

  • Sacred Heart Academy — Kathleen Blim (dance), Emma Lucas (dance), Anna Medley (musical theatre) and Courtney Smith (visual arts).
  • St. Xavier High School — Jack Marks (musical theatre), Daniel Jones (architecture and design) and Aditya Dixit (drama).
  • Assumption High School — Sara Bruner (creative writing) and Marcalley Defler (dance).
  • Bethlehem High School — Natalie Shain (architecture and design).
  • Presentation Academy — Mary McNeil (drama).

The following students were selected to participate in the entrepreneurs program:

  • Trinity High School — Paul Bradford.
  • DeSales High School — A.J. Vowels.
  • Bethlehem High School — Alex Brown.
  • Assumption High School — Yufei Wang
  • Sacred Heart Academy — Gabriella Kelley-Vasquez.
