Students collect gifts for military

RecordLogo-FStudents at Corpus Christi Classical Academy collected more than 3,000 pieces of candy and more than 200 toothbrushes for United States military service members serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The school fulfilled items on a wishlist for Operation Gratitude, which will send the items to the service members. Operation Gratitude is a California-based non-profit whose mission is “to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the military and first responder communities,” according to the organization’s website.
