St. Xavier High School’s football team won Kentucky’s Class 6 A state championship Dec. 4. The Tigers played against the Male High School Bulldogs at Kroger Field in Lexington, Ky., with a final score of 31-21. This is St. Xavier’s 15th football state championship. The school last won a football state championship in 2009.
