St. X student honored at Senate Page School

Jordan Peters, a junior at St. Xavier High School completed service as a Senate Page Jan. 26. He was selected by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to represent Kentucky.

During the fall semester, Peters lived in Washington, D.C., where he attended classes and worked. He was selected by his peers to serve as the Senate Page School secretary and treasurer. At the school’s graduation ceremony on Jan. 26, Peters received a leadership award from the Senate Page School principal and gave closing remarks.

He was one of 27 juniors selected for the program last semester.
