St. Patrick to host “Forming a Pro-Life Conscience”

As part of Respect Life Month 2013, St. Patrick Church will host “Forming a Pro-Life Conscience” Oct. 16. Monsignor J. Brian Bransfield will deliver the address at the Eastwood parish at 1000 N. Beckley Station Road.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. The presentation and question portion will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. there will be time for a book signing. Also following the presentation there will be an opportunity to view artwork featuring the theme “Gift of Joy: The Dignity of Human Life.” The artwork is a collaboration between students at St. Patrick School, St. Mary’s Center and Immaculata Classical Academy. Student artists will be present to showcase their work.

Monsignor Bransfield and Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz co-authored of “Gift of Joy: The Blessing of the Child in the Womb.”

The Rite for the Blessing of a Child in the Womb will be offered. All expectant mothers, couples, or families are invited to receive this most special Blessing & receive a

The event is appropriate for youth in seventh-grade and up.
