St. Patrick Coloring Contest offered

The Ancient Order of Hibernians is once again sponsoring its annual St. Patrick Coloring Contest for students in kindergarten through fourth-grade.

Entry forms will be sent to all area Catholic elementary schools. Forms also will be available at www.LouisvilleIrish.com/ColorSaintPatrick.html and at all branches of King Southern Bank.

Three winners will be chosen from each grade, in addition to one grand-prize winner. The winner from each grade and the grand-prize winner will be recognized at a Mass in honor of St. Patrick at St. Louis Bertrand Church on March 12 at noon.

Following Mass, all winners and their families will be able to ride in a special unit in the St. Patrick’s Parade on Baxter Avenue and Bardstown Road. The parade starts at 3 p.m.

Each winner will receive his or her framed entry and a coloring contest T-shirt. The grand prize winner also receives a $100 cashier’s check.
