St. Michael students thank veterans with celebration

RecordLogo-FStudents at St. Michael School, 3703 Stone Lakes Drive, thanked United States military veterans for their service during a celebration at the school Nov. 11.

The school invited veterans from the parish and the community to attend. More than 200 people, including 40 veterans, attended. Students sang patriotic songs and shared facts they learned in class about veterans and the 50 states. The students also set up a “wall of honor,” showcasing photos of veterans.
