St. Mary’s Center holds dance party for a cause

Disabled adults who attend St. Mary’s Center, 14207 Aiken Road, planned and hosted a Sock Hop dance party July 22. Participants also brought in items for a white elephant sale which raised more than $300 to benefit children served by Home of the Innocents. St. Mary’s serves 150 intellectually disabled adults and teens from the Louisville Metro and surrounding areas. The center provides activities that foster vocational and academic skills as well as social and sporting events.
