St. Martha School sixth-grader Cooper Duckworth and seventh-grader Jalen Eubanks were selected to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) in Washington, D.C., July 8-13.

The students took part in various programs, such as simulations designed to help them understand the function of government. The students also toured the capitol building and visited museums and monuments.

JrNYLC is sponsored by Envision, a global organization that serves students in 145 countries with programs designed to develop leadership, scholarship and career skills, according to a press release from the organization.
